KUCHING: Sarawak CID has set up Special Operation Rooms (SORs) against illegal gambling activities to curb their spread.
Sarawak Head of CID SAC Dennis Leong said these Special Operation Rooms are manned around the clock and to enable members of the public to provide information on illegal gambling activities.
Information will be collected and processed. Correct and current information will be immediately acted upon.
Last Saturday a nationwide effort was launched by Inspector General of Police (IGP) to curb
illegal gambling activities by setting up Special Operation Rooms in all states and at Bukit Aman.
