SOUTH KOREA: Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan together with his delegation team has recently made a visit to the Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency (TIPA) for Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Seoul, South Korea.

The objective if the visit was to explore potential collaborations that could significantly benefit the development of SMEs in Sarawak.

TIPA has expressed its interest to establish potential areas of collaboration with Sarawak through exchange and transfer of technology, joint research and development with institutions and Business to Business (B2B) matching between Sarawak and South Korea to help SMEs in expanding its market reach.

For the record, TIPA is a dedicated government agency that provides support and advance the competitiveness of SMEs in South Korea.

Its roles are to foster innovation, provide technological assistance and enhance competitiveness of SMEs through various support programmes and services for sustainable growth.
