KUCHING: Spa, wellness and reflexology centres are allowed to operate tomorrow (Dec 7) with strict standard operating procedures (SOPs).
The decision for these centres to reopen was made by Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) on Sunday (Dec 6).
Spa, wellness and reflexology centres which have complied with the SOPs are allowed to operate from 10am to midnight.
On the reopening conditions, each premises must obtain a written approval from the respective Divisional Disaster Management Committee (Resident’s Office) before operations can begin and submit a copy of the approval to the local authority.
The operators and all employees are required to undergo the RT-PCR test before being allowed to work and the test results must be negative and not more than three days before operations.
SDMC said the list of employees who had undergone the test must also be displayed.
The committee added the Local Government and related agencies must conduct checks to ensure that premises comply with the set guidelines.
