MUKAH: A friendly charity match to assist former Sarawak goalkeeper Aidil Mohamad will be held at Dalat and Mukah District Council (MDDM) Padang Mesra here on Feb 15 at 4.30pm.
Mukah Division Football Association (MuFA) is organising the match between Mukah veterans and Bintulu veterans.
A source from MuFA said Tellian assemblyman Yussibnosh Balo is expected to attend the match too.
The public are invited to attend the match in the spirit of sportsmanship and to join in MuFA’s effort in assisting Aidil who was reported to be diagnosed with a certain sickness.
It was learnt that Aidil was also active in social work besides playing football after he returned to Mukah a few years ago, when his contract with the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) was not renewed.
