KOTA SAMARAHAN: Kota Samarahan district police held Friday prayers in conjunction with the 215th Police Day.
The district police chief DSP Sudirman Kram said yesterday was the first time they held the prayers at Surau Al-Madani at the district police headquarters here.
Sudirman gave the sermon while Sub Insp Sabudin Che Rose, who will retire from the force in May, read the adhan.
Also present were Surau Al-Madani manager ASP Rahfan Kepli, representative from Integrity and Standard Compliance Divisin, Sarawak Police Contingent, Insp Mohamad Haslee Shafiee and Islamic Department Samarahan officer Ustaz Andullah Sam Yusof.
