SIBU: Kemuyang Phase I Neighbourhood Area (KRT Kemuyang Phase I) has successfully organised the ‘ Rukun Tetangga Sejahtera dan Gerak Rahmah’ programme: Jom Berambeh Sungkei dan Masak Bubur Pedas here, yesterday.
The programme involved participation of 30 local residents.
After cooking spicy porridge, the programme continued with the breaking of fast session.
Also present to brighten up the programme was the Department of National Unity and Integration (JPNIN) Sibu Division Officer Siti Nurfatimah Hussen.
According to the chairperson of KRT Kemuyang Phase 1 Noriah Janjam, among others, the programme is geared towards strengthening the friendship of the local community which consists of various races and religions.
