PUTRAJAYA: A total of 443,883 candidates of the 2017 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) can obtain their examination results on March 15.
In a press statement issued on Tuesday, the Ministry of Education (MOE) revealed that out of the total, 386,331 candidates came from government schools, government aided schools and government aided religious schools, schools under government agencies and MOE (8,346), state religious secondary schools (8,346), public religious secondary schools (1,976), private schools (14,883) and private candidates (23,886).
The ministry added that the candidates could obtain their SPM results from their respective schools after 10am. “Private candidates will be notified by post or they can contact the state education department where they had registered,” said the statement. MOE also said that candidates could check for their SPM results through the short message service (SMS) by typing their identity card number and SPM examination number (angka giliran) and then send to 15888.
The service would be activated on March 15 from 10am and would be terminated on March 21 at 6pm. The results could also be reviewed through the smart phone application by downloading the e-Board of Examinations, added the Education Ministry.
