SERIAN: A total of 50 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) candidates from various secondary schools across the district recently participated in the 2024 SPM Answering Techniques Workshop at a hotel here.
The workshop provided specialised guidance in three SPM subjects, namely Bahasa Melayu, History and Mathematics.
KGBS president Zulkiflee Sebli congratulated the participants for their commitment throughout the programme and expressed his gratitude for LAKIS’s cooperation in fulfilling their social responsibility to the 2024 SPM candidates.
“You are very fortunate and privileged to be among those chosen to gain valuable knowledge in preparation for the upcoming SPM. Use the knowledge you have gained as a useful guide.
“I am confident that this workshop will continue in the future. Besides that, similar workshops could also be extended to STPM candidates.
“We extend our deepest appreciation to LAKIS and the Serian Division Mosque for collaborating with KGBS in making this workshop a success,” he said in his opening speech, according to a press statement issued today.
The programme featured invited speakers who are specialist teachers in these three subjects to help SPM candidates learn effective techniques for answering questions.
This inaugural programme brought together SPM candidates from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Tarat, SMK Serian, SMK Balai Ringin, SMK Taee, SMK Matang Hilir, and Sekolah Seni Malaysia Sarawak.
