KUCHING: The Sarawak Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Gold Coin Sarawak Sdn Bhd today.
SSPCA stated that the MoU was inked following Gold Coin’s decision to choose SSPCA as a beneficiary of the company’s corporate social responsibility project.
“Gold Coin is going to help us to refurbish our roof at the puppy zone and also hand over a box truck by the end of this year.
“We are overwhelmed when they brought 200 packs of kibbles for our residents this evening,” SSPCA said in a social media post.
On another note, SSPCA will be organising a pet adoption drive this Sunday (Sept 25) from 10am to 1pm at Farley Kuching’s main entrance area.
The public are urged to adopt instead of shop as adoption saves lives.
