KUCHING: RHB Banking Group (RHB) has confirmed that one of its employees from RHB Bank — Yung Kong Branch, here has tested positive for Covid-19.
The affected employee was tested for Covid-19 on April 13 and confirmed Covid-19 positive yesterday.
The affected employee has been away from the branch since March 12 and has been under home-quarantine since March 21, it said in a media statement yesterday.
The affected branch has been temporarily closed from March 23 and will remain closed until the end of the movement control order (MCO) period.
Deep cleaning and sanitisation activities of the branch had been carried out in accordance with the Health Ministry guidelines.
As an added precaution, employees who had come into close contact with the affected person have been placed on home-quarantine.
“We have taken all necessary precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of our customers, employees and the community,” the statement added.
