KUCHING: In celebration of World Blood Donor Day and The Ascott Limited’s 40th Anniversary, the Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) Stampin Branch is excited to announce a joint blood donation campaign with Citadines Uplands Kuching.

This impactful event is scheduled to take place this Friday (June 14), from 9am to 4.30pm at the Blood Bank, Sarawak General Hospital (SGH).

“The Ascott Limited, renowned for its four decades of unwavering commitment to hospitality excellence and community welfare through its Ascott CARES programme, underscores its dedication by supporting this noble cause,” it said through a statement on today (June 11).

“This initiative reflects Ascott’s commitment to unlimited good through our culture of care and hospitality to the community.”

Partnering with SGH Transfusion and Blood Bank Services Department  and esteemed organisations such as Timberland Medical Centre, MRS Management, Chofu Enterprise, Moh Heng Company, Wee Yang Hardware, and Regional Laundry (Borneo), Ascott endeavours to bolster the blood supply at Sarawak General Hospital Blood Bank.

By encouraging public participation, Ascott emphasises its pledge to champion the health and well-being of communities.

As a gesture of gratitude, successful donors will receive tokens of appreciation in the form of goodie bags and certificates.

“We are immensely grateful for the generous support of our partners and the public in our collective effort to save lives through blood donation,” said Chew Kim Soon, deputy chairman of Stampin MRC.

“Together, we can make a significant difference in our community’s wellbeing.”
