KUCHING: STAR announced its party chairman Buln anak Ribos as its candidate for Puncak Borneo.
Hailing from the area, Ribos, 49, is self-employed with a Diploma in Civil Engineering. He is a founder member of STAR which was formed 21years ago.
He stood as a candidate for Serembu in the 2016 Sarawak election but was unsuccessful. Ribos has a wife with five children.
To date, STAR has announced four candidates for GE14.
The other three are party secretary, Tiong Ing Tung for Sibu, Kapit chief Sai anak Malaka for Kapit and party treasurer, Chieng Lea Phing for Bintulu.
