DEBAK: The Sarawakku Sayang Special Aid (BKSS) 3.0 has proven that the Sarawak government is listening to the voices of the people through social media.
Saribas assemblyman Mohammad Razi Sitam said BKSS 3.0 complements what was not listed in BKSS 1.0 and 2.0.
“Alhamdulillah, I am pleased that many groups have been included for assistance by the Sarawak government through the introduction of three BKSS series,” he said when met yesterday.
Among them, he said, was the grant of RM500 to single individuals aged 21 and above.
“Others include the river boat operators, passenger van and bus operators, taxi drivers, tour guides, members of the media and so on.
“This includes initiatives for mobile bank branch outlets in rural areas.
“This effort proves that the grievances of the people are taken seriously and not ignored by the government… I am personally very grateful and thankful to Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg,” he said.
Razi also reminded young people who received the aid to spend it wisely.
