State Library holds ‘Makersmeet 2017’this weekend

KUCHING: Sarawak State Library will be organising ‘Makersmeet 2017’ programme on 21 – 22 October 2017 ( Saturday – Sunday ) from 9 am until 5pm, which will take place at the library.

Sarawak State Library is going towards promoting the maker movement in Sarawak, focusing on building the network of makers, entrepreneurs and highlighting local talents.

It will be the day for all ages to explore, hands-on and have fun in the fields of makers namely woodwork, gardening, arts and craft, robotics, 3D Printing and electronic.

Among the interesting activities that will be held in this event are 3D Printing, Drawing with 3D Pen, Makey Makey, Drone Racing & Demo, Paper Quilling activity and Jong Racing & Demo.

Pustaka is expecting several makers from various ages, interests and background covering electronics, arts and crafts, student projects, kit makers, textiles, Arduino projects, robotics and other science projects to come and join this event.
