KUCHING: State Secretary Datuk Amar Abu Bakar Marzuki hosted Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house which took place at Dewan Jamilah, Yayasan Sarawak, today (April 23).
On hand to welcome the arrival of the visitors were Abu Bakar himself and Deputy State Secretary (Economic Planning and Development) Datuk Dr Abdullah Zaidel.
Deputy Premiers Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas and Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian; Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi; former deputy chief minister Tan Sri Datuk Patinggi George Chan; Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii, and Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Law, MA63 and State-Federal relations) Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali were among those present.
A variety of delicacies were served to the visitors through the stalls prepared by the Units under the Premier’s Department.
Among those involved are Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), Unit for Other Religions (UNIFOR), the Sarawak Security and Enforcement Unit (UKPS) and others.
Visitors and well-wishers from all walks of life also attended the open house which started from 10am to 4pm.
