KUCHING: Individuals who find it hard to comply with the Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs) are urged to stay at home to lower the risk of infection.

Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) chairman Lo Khere Chiang said every Sarawakian has a role to play in curbing the spread of Covid-19 infection.

“If you go out in public or crowded places, you have to wear face masks, practice social distancing and always sanitise your hands.

“This is also an advice to me because sometimes I forget. We have to always remind ourselves to follow the SOPs.

“If you find the SOPs are hard to comply with, just stay at home and don’t go out,” he said during a casual interview with Siti Nadya Hassani of Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) broadcast live on his Facebook page today (March 14).
