KUCHING: The Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC) is currently hosting its Mid-Year Strategic Planning Retreat from July 24 to 26, at Wisma Sumber Alam, Petra Jaya, here.

STIDC general manager Zainal Abidin Abdullah stressed the importance of teamwork and collaboration among all participants.

“It is through the collective efforts of a unified team that we can achieve STIDC’s vision. Let us lead positive change and pioneer initiatives that set new benchmarks for sustainable practices in the timber industry.

“As we engage in this productive retreat, let us remain focused on our shared vision, and may our discussions lead to bold and decisive actions that propel STIDC to greater heights,” he said.

Each division within STIDC is presenting its performance for the first half of 2024.

This event is crucial as it allows the corporation to evaluate its accomplishments and identify challenges, ensuring the effective execution of plans moving forward.

The retreat also serves as an opportunity for second-tier officers to showcase their divisions’ achievements, aiming to enhance their presentation and public speaking skills, contributing to their professional growth.
