KUCHING: Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation sacrificed six cows yesterday at the STIDC Furniture Industrial Complex at Kota Samarahan to celebrate Aidiladha. The meat of three cows was given to participants of the event, STIDC staff and subsidiaries.

The meat of three other cows was distributed to the STIDC Surau, the Malaysian Armed Forces Mosque at Penrissen and Kampung Segedup. Also present at the ceremony was STIDC organising committee chairman Hamzah Morshidi who represented STIDC’s general manager Hashim Bojet. This year marked the 14th annual ‘Korban’ event; it was attended by 100 staff members of STIDC and its subsidiaries.
