PUSA: A senior citizen, who went to her farm alone in Kampung Semarang last Friday, was still missing as the search and rescue (SAR) operation entered day five today.

Saratok fire chief PPgB Nazry Mohamat said the SAR operation was divided into six sections involving police personnel, those from the Civil Defence Force (APM) and local villagers.

The State Fire Department’s K-9 unit was also involved in the search, focusing on a 2.5km radius from where the victim was last seen.

Last Friday, the victim, identified as Rahobah Murni, 69, was believed to have gone to her farm alone but did not return in the evening.

At 4.30pm, the victim’s sister sought the help of villagers to conduct a search party. Failure to find the victim later prompted her sister to lodge a missing person report.
