MIRI: A man believed to be the buyer of 19 stolen air conditioner compressors was brought to the police station for questioning yesterday.
According to Miri police chief ACP Lim Meng Seah, the 39-year-old man was detained from his premises in Riam yesterday.
The arrest was made following an interrogation with a thief who was detained on Jan 15.
The 29-year-old thief on Jan 14 broke into a premises in Pujut and carted away 19 units of air conditioner compressors worth RM5,000.
The case is being investigated under Section 379 of the Penal Code.
