KUCHING: Four men pleaded not guilty and were released on bail after they were charged in the Magistrate’s Court here on Wednesday (Oct 14) with owning a Mitsubishi Triton pick-up that was reported stolen.
Magistrate Zaiton Annuar ordered the accused aged between 22 and 33, to be released on bail of RM2,000 with one local guarantor, while a 20-year-old accused was released on a RM500 bail with his father as guarantor.
They were charged with owning a white Mitsubishi Triton pick-up with the registration number QM1516G that was owned by a company, Positive Mind Sdn Bhd.
The accused were suspected of committing the crime around 7.20am at the Batu Kawah new settlement on Sept 29.
Insp Merlyene Lindan Andrew prosecuted while all the accused were represented by a lawyer.
