KUCHING: A storage container with office furniture in it caught fire in front of Wisma Naim on Sunday (Dec 27).
The State Fire Department operations centre said they received a distress call around 1.40pm and despatched firemen from Batu Lintang fire station to the scene.
Upon arrival, they found that the contents inside the container were already destroyed.
The fire was extinguished and no casualties were reported.
Firefighters then monitored the situation to ensure that it is safe before returning to their station.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
