KAPIT: A store and a 3-tonne lorry in a warehouse at Lane 3, Kampung Melayu Baru were destroyed in a fire on Sunday night.
The State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation centre received a report on the fire incident on Sunday night and immediately instructed Kapit Bomba to go to the scene.
Eight firemen led by Erwandy Tugor then rushed to the scene following the call.
No injuries or casualties were reported in the fire.
The operation ended at 9pm.
The cause and loss incurred are still being ascertained.
