KOTA SAMARAHAN: 15 Fire and Rescue personnel from here led by Jackson Anyie Ngau were involved in an operation to look for a four wheel drive which had plunged into the Samarahan River at the Kota Samarahan Ferry Point here yesterday.

The vehicle belonged to Bernabas Lias Anak Jalal,77, who was using the ferry to cross the Samarahan River.

According to Bernabas, the vehicle suddenly moved forward before plunging into the river.

The firemen were unable to find the vehicle because the currents in the river were strong.
