About 130 students from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) Faculty of Social Science made a visit to the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) complex yesterday.

The Year One and Year Two students from throughout Sarawak are students from the Politics and Government Studies programme.

The purpose of the one-day visit was to observe the proceedings of the assembly sitting.

They were led by their programme lecturers Dick Lembang Dugun and Awang Mashabi Awang Mohamad.

The students also had the opportunity to speak with DUN members Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman (GPS-Tupong), Gerald Rentap Jabu (GPS-Layar), and Lo Khere Chiang (GPS-Batu Kitang) and had a photo opportunity.
