MUKAH: Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Mukah pre-Diploma students are required to remain on campus to attend face-to-face (F2F) study sessions.

UiTM rector Prof Datuk Dr Jamil Hamali said the pre-Diploma students had registered at the Mukah Campus on Sept 26.

“The presence of these students on campus is to undergo face-to-face study sessions on campus to increase their focus on studies.

“All these students have participated in the Students’ Destiny Week (MDS) programme which took place from Sept 28 to Oct 2.

“Students have been exposed to learning methods at the university as well as improving their skills and self-confidence as students of higher learning institution,” he said in a statement on Friday (Oct 2).

Jamali said the decision was in accordance with Sarawak State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC)’s statement dated Aug 1 and UiTM Vice Chancellor Circular No. 24/2020 dated Oct 2.
