KUCHING: Two Suara Sarawak reporters and a photographer have won the Press Metal Group Chief Executive Officer Environmental Award.
They are Kalsum Mohammadin, Nick Fletcher Neha, and Mohd Alif Noni.
Kalsum was chosen as the winner for the Print Media and News Portal — Feature Article category, while Nick won in the Print Media and News Portal — Special News Report category, with each receiving a prize of RM3,100, a trophy, and a certificate.
Meanwhile, Mohd Alif won second place in the Print Media and News Portal — Photography category, with a prize of RM2,100, a trophy, and a certificate.
The winners received their prizes from Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg during the state-level National Environment Day 2024 here on Wednesday (Oct 23).
The Sarawak Environmental Media Award 2024, organised by Press Metal (Bintulu) Sdn. Bhd., is to honor media practitioners who have made significant contributions through published articles on environmental management and sustainability.
