KUCHING: Purchases of exclusive merchandise, such as shirts and tracksuits for the 21st Malaysian Games (SUKMA), will soon be available online once the e-commerce website is launched.
State Deputy Secretary-General (Operations) who is also the 21st SUKMA Sarawak 2024 Secretariat chief executive officer Datuk Hii Chang Kee said that plans are being made with sponsors to sell the prestigious sports merchandise online.
“In the past, these items could only be bought at the sports venue.
“This year, we aim to introduce online purchases through e-commerce,” he said during an exclusive interview on ‘Juh Randau’ programme by the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS) at the UKAS Studio yesterday (June 28).
Hii added that the e-commerce website is in its final stages of preparation, while the SUKMA Sarawak 2024 website is already accessible.
“All detailed information about SUKMA, including the competition schedule, can be downloaded from the website, and the latest updates will be continuously provided,” he said.
Also present during the interview were UKAS Director Samuel Simon and other senior UKAS officials.
