KUALA LUMPUR: It will be either gold or silver for our boys in the Sukma indoor volleyball team tomorrow (Sept 23) following their clean sweep victory in the semifinals.

The men’s team took down Sukma giant Johor 3-0 (25-21, 25-16, 25-16) during the match at the MBSA Volleyball Hall near Shah Alam this morning (Sept 22).

Bukit Assek assemblyman cum assistant chef de mission (ACDM) Joseph Chieng Jin Ek, after the match, said he is confident that his team will bring home the gold for Sarawak.

“We are very high spirited now and I have full faith in our men’s team to go for gold tomorrow. Sarawak boleh!” he enthused.

Chieng also waxed lyrical over the team’s outstanding performance and show of skills during the match against Johor.

“I think their performance today is great. Three-nil against Johor, which is a good team and we expected a tough game, but overall, the team was fantastic
