KUCHING: The Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj and Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Hajah Norashikin arrived safely at Kuching International Airport (KIA) on today (June 28).
Upon arrival at 11.55 am, the Royal couple was welcomed by the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (DUN) Speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar and his wife, Puan Sri Datin Amar Fatimah Iskandar.
Also present to greet the Royal couple were wife of the Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian, Datin Amar Enn Ong Siok Ean, and other dignitaries.
Sultan Sharafuddin and Tengku Permaisuri Hajah Norashikin will grace the Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF) at the Sarawak Cultural Village on Friday (June 28) and Saturday (June 29).
Additionally, on Saturday (June 29) morning, the Royal couple will visit the Tun Jugah Foundation Museum and Gallery.
Their Majesties are expected to depart Kuching on a special flight on Sunday (June 30).
