KUCHING: The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al-Haj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj, and Tengku Permaisuri Hajah Norashikin attended a luncheon at Hilton Hotel on Sunday (June 30).
Attending the luncheon were also the Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife, Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi.
Upon their arrival, Their Royal Highnesses were warmly welcomed by the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (DUN) Speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar, and his wife, Puan Sri Datin Amar Fatimah Mohamad Iskandar.
Among those present at the luncheon were the Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and his wife, Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tuanku Bujang; the Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian and his wife, Datin Amar Enn Ong.
Sultan Sharafuddin and Tuanku Norashikin, who have been on an official visit to Kuching since June 28, departed for Kuala Lumpur after the luncheon.
During their stay in the capital city, Their Royal Highnesses attended the Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF) at the Sarawak Cultural Village (SCV) in Damai and visited the Tun Jugah Foundation.
