Sultan, wife and son visit Juma’ani Pavilion

KUCHING: Sultan of Selangor Sharafuddin Idris Shah and Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin made an official visit to the Juma’ani Pavilion yesterday. 

They were accompanied by Selangor Crown Prince Tengku Amir Shah. 

On arrival, they were greeted by the Premier’s wife Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang. 

Thereafter, their Majesties signed a plaque and were taken on a tour of the premises.

During the tour, Permaisuri Norashikin had the  chance to try on a 60-year- old ‘keringkam’. She also tried her hand at embroidering the traditional Sarawak Malay women’s head covering. 

Also present were Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian and his wife, Datin Enn Ong; State Assembly Speaker Tan Sri Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar; and others.
