KUCHING: Sunway College Kuching and the Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) Stampin Chapter will hold a blood donation campaign on March 29.

The initiative is scheduled to take place at the Kuching Sentral Complex and Terminal, aiming to address potential blood shortages at the Sarawak General Hospital during the fasting month.

“Scheduled to run from 10 am to 2 pm, this campaign underscores the critical importance of blood donations in sustaining and saving lives,” Sunway College said in its press release.

“It serves as a beacon of hope for those in need, emphasising the power of collective action in addressing healthcare challenges.

“Every donation made during this campaign contributes to a collective effort in replenishing blood supplies, ensuring that patients in need receive timely and adequate medical care.”

Whether it’s a first-time donor or a seasoned contributor, each participant plays a vital role in the broader mission of saving lives, it added.

Sunway stated that successful donors will receive complimentary gifts for their invaluable contribution to the community.
