KUCHING: Sarawak United FC (SUFC) young striker Azman Chuchu, 25, is ready to try for a place in the starting line-up with his team this season.
The Kampung Luagan-born star from Sundar Lawas, is hoping that his strength can really be capitalised as the main player, namely in the first 11 of the team instead of just being used as a substitute as was experienced in the last season.
“The new season and the competition stage are also different.
“Of course, I want to be in the starting line -up for every match of the Super League 2022 campaign that will be played later this season,” Azman told Arena Suara Sarawak/New Sarawak Tribune.
According to Azman, he is confident of placing himself with other key players in the future.
Add the former Kuala Lumpur City FC player (2018-2020),
What is important for him at this time is to work hard and improve his performance, the former Kuala Lumpur City FC player (2018-2020) added.
“I believe there is a keen clash to grab a place in the front line this time around.
“The important thing now is that I need to be more focused and always strive to improve my performance,” Azman.
This year is Azman’s second appearance with SUFC and being the younger brother of the former national striker (Ashri Chuchu), he is also determined to ensure that his team remain in the Super League scene next season.
