SIBU: Malaysian supermodel Amber Chia will play tourist in a 30-minute promotional video on the town titled ‘48 Hours Sibu Raiders’.

This video will showcase Chia’s tour around Sibu for a period of 48 hours and will premiere during the Borneo Cultural Festival (BCF) from July 19 to 23.

Deputy Minister of Public Health, Housing and Local Government, Michael Tiang who was the initiator of the project said at a press conference that he chose 48 hours as the title for the video as one only needs that amount of time to learn about Sibu, its delicious food, places of interest and activities that one can participate in there.

“If one is willing to spend 48 hours in Sibu, then it will definitely be a memorable trip,” he said.

The Pelawan assemblyman said he had brought the idea to film director Bjarne Wong and the latter proposed that he wanted Chia to be featured in the video.
