SRI AMAN: Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian has appealed to all Sarawakians to give their undivided support to Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) and its party candidates in the next state election to ensure continuity of development agenda.
He made the call while officiating at “Majlis Ngiling Bidai Gawai Dayak” organised by Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Engkilili Branch in collaboration with the Village Security and Development Committee (JKKK) of Rumah Mulok Anggot, Kujoh Ulu Skrang in Sri Aman Division recently.
The GPS government led by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg, he added, maintained friendly relations with Pakatan Harapan federal government.
“It has a clear vision to govern the state and regain Sarawak’s rights and privileges enshrined in the Malaysia Agreement (MA)1963.
“It is also sensitive to the needs and aspirations of all Sarawakians with its slogan ‘Sarawak First’.
“It focuses on infrastructure development to uplift the social-economic development of the state.”
Delighted to be invited to the function, he said he was impressed with the big crowd at the gathering.
