KUCHING: Over one thousand Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) supporters thronged the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) here to attend the unveiling of the party’s 15th General Election (GE15) manifesto.
The manifesto was launched by GPS chairman Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg on Today evening (Nov 6).
The GPS GE15 manifesto outlined one direction, five main pillars, 25 thrusts along with 215 commitments that the party pledged and committed to implement.
Besides the supporters, also present were Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) president Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian and Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) president Datuk Joseph Salang Gandum, while Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) president Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing was represented by senior vice president Datuk Paul Igai.
Various state leaders and dignitaries also attended the manifesto launching ceremony.
The GPS is fielding 31 candidates in the GE15 for all parliamentary seats in Sarawak.
