KUCHING: Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki took part in a ‘gotong-royong’ (communal work) at Surau Darul Qarar, Jalan Muhibbah here yesterday.
That was after he officiated at the programme that was organised by the village security and development committee of Kampung Temedak/Muhibbah, Kampung Temedak/Muhibbah Friendly Neighbourhood (KJM), Kampung Temedak and Jalan Muhibbah Neighbourhood Watch (KRT) Committee, Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Muhibbah sub-branch, and Surau Darul Qarar.
The ‘gotong-royong’ was held to clean the surau area in preparation of the upcoming Ramadan.
Lucky draws were also held at the end of the programme.
Also present then were Penghulu Mohamed Karim Abang; Temedak village chief and chairman of the Temedak 2022 Gotong-Royong programme Abdul Kudus Lait Ahmat; Kpg Temedak/Muhibbah Zone KRT chairman Dr Shazali Johari; Kpg Temedak/Jalan Muhibbah KJM chairman Mohamed Fadzil Rosli.
