KUCHING: Sarawak ‘C’ Squad (Youth Cup) failed to capitalise on the chance to play at home when just draw 0-0 draw against Terengganu at the State Stadium in Petra Jaya last weekend.
The squad should blame themselves for failing to score despite five to six chances at goal.
Sarawak dominated the match towards the end of the match but did not get any goal.
“We failed to capitalise on the chances to earn our first victory,” said Safri disappointedly.
“But I believe the players have been working towards it although things are not in our favour,” he added.
He said the scoring issue will be resolved for the second leg play away against PKNS FC on March 5.
