ACTOR Syafiq Kyle is currently busy making sure his wedding preparations is all set before he departs for the United Kingdom next month.
The 30-year-old, who is set to tie the knot with fellow artiste Mimi Lana in August, is excited about the upcoming project, a drama series adapted from the crime fiction novel, “Inspector Singh Investigates”.
The novel series was written by Shamini Flint, a Malaysia-born author based in Singapore. The drama will be produced for a platform in the UK.
“I’ll be playing Sergeant Shukur, an assistant to protagonist Inspector Singh, who will be played by a London actor. In the story, Inspector Singh will come to Malaysia to solve a case.
“There will be other Malaysian actors in this production, too,” Syafiq added. However, he could not disclose more about the storyline as it was confidential.
