KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud and Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan yesterday attended the Council of Rulers Meeting held at Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur.
Awang Tengah represented Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg in accompanying the Head of State during the meeting.
The two-day meeting ends today (Feb 20).
The meeting was chaired by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah.
The meeting was also attended by Sultans, Head of States and Chief Ministers from all over the country.
