KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud received a courtesy call from Che Hia Khor (CHK) Moral Uplifting Society Kidney Foundation chairman Datuk Seri Tay Chin Kinat at Demak Jaya, Petra Jaya on Tuesday (Sept 14).
The aim of the courtesy call is to inform Taib on the current and latest developments related to the foundation and the dialysis centre located at Jalan Laksamana Cheng Ho in Kuching district.
Tay had also expressed his appreciation for the contribution given by Taib on supporting the dialysis centre that was run by his foundation ever since it was established.
He added that the foundation is planning to upgrade the facility space for the centre to better cater for the needs of kidney patients.
