KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud and wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib had safely arrived at Hornbill Skyways, Kuching International Airport on yesterday night (Jan 16).
According to a news report from the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), his return is to resume his service after resting for a month abroad.
On Jan 11, Raghad was awarded the Nona VIP Award in conjunction with the Nona Superwoman Award 2022 which was held in Kuala Lumpur.
Their arrival was welcomed by Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Labour, Immigration and Project Monitoring) Datuk Gerawat Gala; Deputy Minister of Utility and Telecommunications Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi; Kuching South City Council (MBKS) Mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng and Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) general manager Abdul Hadi Datuk Abdul Kadir.
