KUCHING: Sarawak Forestry Cooperation (SFC) and Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) recently conducted a discussion on upcoming innovative projects on climate change mitigation.

The custodian of national parks and wildlife in Sarawak said that it received a courtesy working visit from PETRONAS on Friday.

“Our team was led by deputy chief executive officer Oswald Braken together with Dr Melvin Gumal, Mohidin Rajuli, Rambli Ahmad, Salvia Sambai, Dayang Amira and Wan Ruzzainie.

“Meanwhile, Ahmad Fauzi Toran, Rhymie Rashidie and Mohd Nizam Basiron headed the PETRONAS’ team during the courtesy working visit.

“Among issues discussed were previous collaborative projects and upcoming innovative projects on climate change mitigation,” it said.

SFC added that the teams would meet up again over the year to follow up on present discussions as well as exploring various potential projects.
