MIRI: Miri United Hawkers Association distributed donated face masks at Tamu Muhibbah and Tamu Kedayan here.

“Today, I, together with committee members of the Miri United Hawkers Association, visited and distributed face masks to the hawkers at Tamu Muhibbah and Tamu Kedayan,” Transport Minister Datuk Lee Kim Shin said yesterday.

Other distribution locations were Pasar Krokop Lorong 5 market, Krokop Lorong 10 market, Tamu Pujut Corner, Lutong Market, Tamu Morsjaya, Taman Tunku Market, Miri Fish Market, Unity Food Centre and Miri Central Market.

The face masks were donated by Samling Group of Companies last Saturday.

Lee was pleased to see association chairman Chong Khi Choang and committee members working together to urge all hawkers to take care of their health and safety while doing business during the Covid-19 pandemic and movement control order period.
