BINTULU: Tanjong Batu assemblyman Johnny Pang Leong Ming inspected preparations for the Sukma 2024 Muay Thai venue at Naim Paragon Mall here on Wednesday (Aug 14).
Pang, who is also the deputy chef de mission for the Muay Thai event, also inspected the facilities provided for athletes to rest.
When met by reporters, he expressed satisfaction with the work of the organising team, including staff and volunteers, who have been working tirelessly to ensure that preparations go smoothly.
In addition, he encouraged the public to come and show their full support for the Sarawak muay thai team at the Games.
Muay Thai will take place from Aug 15 to 20, with Sarawak aiming for two gold medals.
