Tanjung Datu rep visits villager’s newly repaired home

LUNDU: Walls, flooring, and roofs of a house in Kampung Meriyu Lundu are finally repaired as part of another Sarawak Housing Repair Programme for the poor (PPRMS) project in Tanjong Datu constituency.

Tanjung Datu assemblyman Azizul Annuar Adenan paid a visit to Jamali Ayub’s home yesterday after restoration work began on Jan 20, 2023.

During the visit, Jamali expressed his appreciation and thanks to Azizul and the Sarawak government for assisting him in obtaining a comfortable home.

In terms of infrastructure, amenities, and resident houses, he said that the assemblyman had made significant improvements for the Kampung Meriyu community.

“Because of that, I always give solid support to the assemblyman and the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) government as the backbone of the state government,” he said when met during the Azizul’s visit to his house.

Also present were Penghulu Rabiel Bujang Ili and Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu’s (PBB) Tanjong Datu Women’s chief Fatimah Abdullah and residents of Kampung Meriyu Lundu.
