TAPAH: The basketball court here will soon be upgraded under the Rural Transformation Project (RTP).

According to a Sarawak Public Communications Unit report, Minister for Education, Innovation and Talent Development Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn had allocated RM50,000 for the purpose.

He was officiating at the closing ceremony of Tapah Basketball Referee Camp organised by Tapah Sports and Recreation Club at the basketball court on Sunday (April 10).

Sagah also presented a letter for the RTP project to Tapah Sports and Recreation Club chairman Chong Chee Lik.

He also congratulated the organisers and all 16 participants who successfully completed the course.

Also present were Damen Rejek, a political secretary to the Premier of Sarawak, and Kapitan Bong Joon Kim.
