KUCHING: A teacher died on the spot after the car she was driving plunged into a ravine at Kampung Terasik, Sadong Jaya, Kota Samarahan, yesterday.
The teacher identified as Ainul Khaliza Bolhi, 38, of SMK Sadong Hilir lost control of the car she was driving at about 1.15pm before it went down a ravine.
Ainul who was single, liked hiking and took part in marathons. She was also kind and helpful to all. When news of her death reached her hiking friends, they all went to the Sarawak General Hospital morgue to be with Ainul’s family members.
After Fire and Rescue Department received a distress call, a team of firefighters was immediately despatched to the location.
An autopsy will be conducted on Ainul.
