MARUDI: Team Monster emerged as champions of the Street Soccer tournament held at the Wisma Persekutuan Marudi recently.
The Kalah Awal B team were second while Bou FC B team finished third.
A total of 20 teams namely, Juvanito FC, Carabao, Downstream, Monsters Of The Game, Pekida, RKFC, Bersatu A, Bersatu B, Youth Gusto (YG) S.S, MAFCA A, MAFCA B, Team Kalah Awal A , Team Kalah Awal B, Messra Empire, Soza FC, MPPU SMK Marudi, Panglima Baling, Bou FC A, and Bou FC B took part in the competition
The event was held by the Social and Welfare Club, Marudi Labour Office and sponsored by a manager at an oil palm plantation in the Baram area, Encik Mansol @ Kimpie anak Liau.
The prizes were given away by the senior assistant director of Marudi Labour Office, Lio Siang Yun.
